You care about the performing arts.
So do we.

#FreelancersFutures
The financial support announced by the Government is very welcome, now we ask for an acknowledgment of the role that Freelancers play in the performing arts.
As the £1.57bn Cultural Support Package is being awarded, the #OneVoiceCampaign is calling for:
A lifeline for people…
Right now, people working in the Performing Arts have seen their work vanish. These aren’t just the stars of stage and screen; they are the people who run your choir, who take your dance class, who coach your child’s theatre group, who play in an orchestra. They cannot work, they cannot earn, and they need financial help now.
The buildings have a rescue package but what about the people?
#FreelancersFutures
As institutions make their applications for grants, we encourage them to acknowledge the role freelancers play in their institutions. We ask them to commit to include dedicated provision in their proposals for Freelancers and their futures.
When considering the applications, the DCMS and the Arts Council should actively encourage institutions to make such provision for Freelancers in their proposals, and to look favourably on those institutions who make specific plans to support the Freelancers in their network and community.
Together, we can safeguard the performing arts for future generations.
“We are an immensely interconnected industry, so it is important that these funds percolate from the grassroots up, so that the whole landscape can be nourished... individual artists have been staring into the abyss.”
